Mary Post, Artist and Owner
My name is Mary Post and I live in Yarmouth Maine. I have been a creative person my whole life. I often find myself awake in the wee hours trying to figure out a design or the colors I want to use on a project. I love so many mediums, but recently painting with alcohol inks is my favorite. Most of my adult life I have been an owner and teacher of a preschool. Daily art with the students satisfied my creative energy. I loved all the bright colors we used everyday and the variety of mediums. Since handing off the school and moving to Maine, I am finally focusing on my own art. Time in my studio is a gift, especially during the pandemic. In addition to loving vivid and bright colors, I am inspired by the coast and all the wonders that live in and around it.
